RuneScape: Dragonwilds Update 1.00.002 Released to Address Various Issues

Update: The official patch notes are now available.

  • Fix for the Air Magic Staff Attack Combo’s 4th hit not dealing damage or applying on-hit effects.
Splitting stacks with a controller when the item in the chest no longer causes a hitch where the controller becomes unresponsive.
  • Fix for Runecrafting values being defaulted to 1/50 whenever an amulet or ring degraded or lost durability.
  • Fix for XBOX Series X hosted worlds not being able to support more than one XBOX Client joining the world at a time.
    Additional fixes for Kuldra Skips.
  • Resolved an issue where users would lose progress when players with the same display name would try (and fail) to log in.
  • Fixed an issue where the Dragon Scimitar would not allow users to Jump Attack in certain circumstances.
  • Fix for “Silent” quests where the Quest UI would show them incorrectly, including calling missing objective text.
  • Fix for Linux-based Dedicated Servers crashing when teleporting.

Original Story:

While Jagex hasn’t released the official patch notes yet, the dev team has acknowledged the latest round of fixes they’re working on and intend to release in a new hotfix (which is today).

– Splitting stacks in chests, on controller, is causing the UI to freeze. Some users are reporting that you can back out of the freeze with RS / R3 / Sorting the chest, but we’re working on a holistic fix.

– Air Magic Staff Attack Combo’s 4th does not currently deal damage on-hit.

– The other Air Stave attacks work as intended as do Wands – there are also the other elemental types and melee and ranged, of course, but we know you want to live our your Mage fantasy. We’ve got you.

– Wearing an Amulet or Ring that degrades over time resets the Runecrafting UI’s Essence counter to 1 with every tick.

– Fixes for skips in the Scorned Wilderness Raid.

– Fix for an menu navigation error when PS5 users sign out of their account while accepting an invite.

– A fix for XBOX Series X hosted worlds where only one user can join at a time.

– Fix for inventory not persisting when switching worlds.

– Mucksplosion is not correctly affecting the 3×3 radius it shows before casting.

– An issue where some Corrupted World Saves are disappearing for players.

– Fix for users experiencing a failed download initiation on Jagex Launcher.

If we receive a proper changelog, we’ll update the article with the info.
