Fire Arrows is an extra type of ammunition you can unlock for the Fairy Bow in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. With these arrows in hand, you can speed up the process of solving some puzzles and attack enemies with fire. First, however, you need to know where to get the Fire Arrows in Ocarina of Time.

Where to get the Fire Arrows in Zelda Ocarina of Time
To get the Fire Arrows in Zelda: Ocarina of Time, you first need to complete the Water Temple in Lake Hylia. Afterwards, remaining in the Adult timeline, visit the island with the large tree and Water Temple warp pad on it. There you'll find a tablet with the following words, 'When the lake is full and dawn breaks, release an arrow toward the halo of light.'
The solution to this sort-of riddle is a very simple one. All you have to do is wait for the sun to rise before shooting an arrow into it. The top of the tablet points in the direction the sun will be rising, so it isn't a hard target to miss. (It's also, you know, the sun.) Helpfully, the sun also shines brighter in the morning in Lake Hylia compared to other parts of Hyrule so you'll definitely know when the time is right!
You can also play the Sun's Song to skip forward in time if you don't want to stand around waiting for morning to come.
Once you've shot your arrow, the Fire Arrows will fall from the sky. Now all you have to do is swim to the island opposite and collect them!
Having the Fire Arrows in your arsenal means you no longer have to shoot arrows through torches for any 'lit this torch' puzzle and you can attack enemies with fire. Just keep in mind that using a Fire Arrow will cost a one segment of your magic metre.
